After installing Mapsource and running the Panama map installation setup file, you are now ready to install the map.

Unlocking the map with Mapsource 6.14.1 and higher.
The first time you start Mapsource with the Panama map installed, you will be prompted to unlock the map. Once the Manage Map Products Manager window opens, change to the Unlock Regions page. Click on the add button. Add the unlock code exactly as provided then add a description of Panama. Close the window and the map will be unlocked.

Unlocking the map with Mapsource 6.13.7 and below.
The first time you start Mapsource with the Panama map installed, you will be prompted to unlock the map. Click on the unlock button and click next until you come to a screen that has 2 text boxes to enter the code and a description. Enter the unlock code we provided and Panama as the description. When it asks you to register, select no. This registration is for Garmin maps only.

When Mapsource appears on the screen you need to select the map to view. See below.

I also set the detail level to high.

When the map first appears it is a small dot in the center of the screen. Use the zoom tool to zoom in to 300M in Panama City.

Now select the map tool and click anywhere on the map. The map will turn pink indicating the map is now selected. If you are sending more than one map, continue selecting each map to send.

Click on the send to device tool and the find device widow will open. if your GPS is plugged into the computer, you should see it listed.

Click send and you are done.
