I have just uploaded a new version of the Panama map. There are hundreds of new turn restrictions and ehancements. Also this map was compiled with a new version of the map compiler and has many improvements to the index system. You will notice that the alternate index file is no longer there. The new compiler creates an index file that can be used by all GPS models.
Google has recently added more detailed imagery of many places in Panama including Boquete, Coronado, Santiago and many other coastal areas. In the coming months I will be adding and adjusting existing roads in these areas. Unfortunately the imagery is not very accurate and needs to be calibrated before I can trace new roads and adjust existing ones. If anyone has any accurate points or tracks for these areas, I would appreciate a copy so I can get started as fast as possible. Otherwise I need to physically need to go to all these areas and takes some calibration points. Anything you may have will be a bonus and save time.
A special thanks goes out to Mr. Boris Reyna who has been sending me hundreds of turn restriction and pointing out map errors. Much of the credit for the map improvents must go to him.
