Many users requested that we look at the zoom levels on the map. We have now increased the zoom level of minor roads to display for longer when zooming out. This may affect screen redraw performance on some GPSr unit. If you have a problem, please let us know.

What's Next

We are currently beta testing for the inclusion of elevation contours on the map. So far it is looking good but there will some decisions to be made before we release them. The map will increase in size from 6 MB to 14 MB which should not be a problem for most users. Screen redraw performance will be affected though. Some older units may have a serious problem with this. To this end, we are considering releasing two versions of the map. One with the coutours and one without. We would value your comments on this issue.
